Xandari Riverscapes

Xandari Riverscapes are a fleet of house boats which sails along Vembanad Lake and in the backwaters of Alleppey. The houseboats are docked near Pallathuruthy Bridge.

The traditional houseboats, called "kettuvallams" have wood harvested from local jackfruit tree plantations, hand-stitched by local craftsmen with coconut fiber rope.

The boats have one, two or three air-conditioned bedrooms. All have an open-air living area and a fully-equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy the views from the viewing deck, or through the bedroom's picture window.

Suites have an attached bathroom with toiletries and hot water supply. A desk and wardrobe are provided. Each has both air conditioning and a fan. Laundry services and a doctor-on-call are available for guests’ convenience.

Guests can relish a delectable meal of classic Kerala cuisine cooked on board.

The houseboat docks in the evenings by the side of the lake. Guests can enjoy a ride on a canoe through the backwaters or play indoor games in the houseboat.
