Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club
With 1312 feet of private sea front, the 5-star property offers spacious rooms all with balcony and views of the Atlantic and the Deserted Islands. Two seawater pools at sea level and a third, fresh water (heated) pool at the hotel level. Our rooms feature bright, contemporary decor with nautical motifs and traditional hand-painted tile panels. Bathrooms have double washbasins and bidet. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for each guest. Guests can relax by the pools and enjoy views over Santa Cruz Bay, play tennis, or practice their swing at Santo da Serra championship golf course 5 mi away. The Hibiscus à la carte restaurant features a Mediterranean menu and local dishes in a dining room with stunning sea views. The outdoor terrace provides spectacular views of sunsets or leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun. Guests can also eat outdoors by the pool. Free wi-fi throughout. Albatroz is entirely energy self-sufficient. Funchal is a 20-minute drive away and the island's beautiful villages within easy reach. Complimentary parking available at the hotel. Reception is staffed 24/7 to help ensure our guests have a comfortable ‘Albatroz night’ every night. Complimentary airport shuttles to and from Madeira Airport between 8 am and midnight (on weekdays) are available by arrangement.
